WE WENT THROUGH IT,TO GET TO IT! WHERE TO NOW?

It's been a year,
it seems like two.
And so we had to wait.
We kept up hope.
We stayed afloat.
And so we made our fate.

​While bridges burned.
The lessons learned,
we had to understand.
And so we faced,
the vast unknown, 
together hand in hand.

We fought with fear.
counseled with faith,
and somehow we received.
That healing balm,
that comes through prayer.
If only we believe.

SO FINALLY RELIEF HAS COME.
WE TOOK TIME TO RELAX.
WE STOOD UP AND  REFUSED TO RUN.
WE ALL GOT IN THE ACT.

WE MAY NOT KNOW JUST HOW TO GET,
TO OUR NEXT TASK FROM HERE.
BUT LORD WE KNOW WE OWE YOUR SON,
AND LIFE'S BECOME SO DEAR. 

We battle on.
The fights not done.
This war will never end.
​We took our licks,
while in the mix,
with Jesus as our friend.

And our new missions,
will bring additions,
to what we say and do.
We can't pretend. 
We've got to win,
for us, for me, for you.

We're all done acting.
We are not  slacking.
Can't have  hypocrisy.
We know the deal. 
Yes it's for real.
Sit back and watch you'll see.

SO FINALLY RELIEF HAS COME.
BUT WE CANNOT RELAX.
WE'RE IN THE FIGHT BUT IT'S NOT WON.
AND THAT IS JUST A FACT.

AND NOW OUR EYES ARE ON THE PRIZE.
THE FOCUS IS INTENSE.
TO LAPSE OR LETUP IN OUR MINDS.
DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.
