THE RISK THE REALITY AND THE RESULTS OF RUSHING

Rushing and remembering are diametrically opposed. Rushing shrouds the lessons we should have already learned with bias. Rushing also creates enough inner turmoil to alter sound logic. The old saying that "haste makes waste" is what we're writing about. Another way of expressing this thought is by saying "look before you leap." When we "hurry, hurry, hurry" to step right up and see the greatest show on earth we'll probably miss it. Yes, once again there is a spiritual energy associated with how we rush and deal with time. We'll attempt to explain it here. The word "hurry," used in this context implies that without the extra effort of decisive quickness something will be lost. After reading this post there should be no doubt that the exact opposite is true.

Mistakes have a tendency to yield their results instantly or dynamically over an extended period of time. When we hurry it spontaneously engages a "spirit of worry." The anxiety we feel often comes as a result of the perception of having lost or thinking we are about to lose something. Whether it is an experience, money or time, any sense of loss can create anxiety. When we take the time to think and ponder a response, it gives us a greater sense of control. During a crisis, is not the time for us to panic or rush to conclusions and judgments. Yet it is a time to expedite precision policies and practices. Rushing into or out of a response to any crisis can make matters worse and no one has a crystal ball. We must consider both sides of any action and then search for the other side that we can't see. In our three-dimensional world there is also a hidden fourth dimension. This is the dimension of "spiritual consciousness" that we often refer to within these posts. This is a neglected element of existence that must be addressed. It is unfortunate that the spirit, attitude and consciousness of these times has no grasp of the "invisible forces" rushing and blinding us through instant gratification. Our rapid advancement over the past two centuries and the advent of "Moore's and Metcalfe's" laws alongside modern technology has affected our everyday expectations. We have a growing problem exercising patience. The reality is that we just don't like to wait. Everything from our music to our movies now tends to cater to the "spirit of instant gratification." We now demand pleasure and fulfillment without delay or deferment whether we can have it or not. Readiness is a qualification of preparedness. Many times, when we think ourselves to be ready by our own assessment, we fall short. In our present crisis, although many of our responses have come late, we still have the ability to rapidly improve. Timing is everything! Time can be managed through "patiently biding and waiting" disciplines or through "changing or disrupting rhythm" disciplines. The trick is knowing both the precise method and moment. Exercising the wrong method during the wrong moment can be costly. The spirit of a unified consolidated approach can harness hope and work wonders. Rushing generally does not allow us time to err on the side of caution. Rushing is an action as well as a spirit (attitude and behavior) of emotion.

"nature never seems to Rush but somehow everything gets done."

When - we - rush - into - something - the - cure - can - end - up - being - worse - then - the - cause. A cure generally takes more time to have its full effect then it took to get sick or inflict an injury. We can break a bone instantly, but the healing process may take months for the bone to fuse again. If we wait too late to apply a cure the cure may actually take longer, be less effective or possibly not work at all. Healing can be instantaneous but cannot be rushed. There is a "spirit of haste" that society has embraced to its demise. The "spirit of haste" can ultimately diminish the "spirit of hope." Remember haste can frustrate hope if we move to fast. Unfortunately, we are not fully aware of the effects that rushing is having upon society. Rapid advancements, technological breakthroughs and progress have unleashed unabated ambitions. When we fail to consider the full consequences of our actions, they can be detrimental to our culture, country and planet. Progress is a finicky friend. If we fail to understand its full ramifications it can bite us in the butt. "An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed." This is what Proverbs 20:21 says.

"THE TWO MOST POWERFUL WARRIORS ARE PATIENCE AND TIME!"

"Going viral." This is the expression we've used to describe the speed at which concepts, ideas and inventions grow or expand on the internet. "Going viral" is such a rapid phenomenon with implications that we no longer have to wait. Patience seems to be unnecessary. There is an illusion that time on our side. Now we understand what "going viral" really means. Viruses can spread so fast that regardless of how we experience them, they become quite difficult to control. Spirits span and reach into both the tangible and invisible realms of Consciousness, attitudes and behaviors. Their influence can also spread like a virus, and the spiritual implications that manifest in the natural world can prove to be devastating. This is one of the ways we explain the rise of Mussolini, Hitler, the holocaust, racism and slavery. Surely when we crucified Jesus, who was innocent, rather than "Barabbas the criminal" a mob mentality of thought must have reigned. Whenever we rush to judgement, we empower our own bias. What most of us fail to realize is that even our most "heartfelt thinking" is biased and will deceive us. Deep within each of us, the desire to see things our way tends to obscure our vision and supersede our perception of truth. Even those of us reaching the correct conclusions and seeing things clearly still have a tendency to add on, embellish, exaggerate or color the truth to fit our personal and/or "our sides" perspective. The "spirit of Deception," the malignant twin to the "spirit of perception," behave similarly. It is very difficult to operate under the influence of either of them without one influencing the other. This is one of the ways spirits operate. No one is exempt. This is why in the "multitude of counselors" there is safety.

Let's postulate about living during a "time of acceleration" and rushing. If time is actually moving faster and we are doing more in less time while simultaneously living longer, does that mean we are actually accomplishing more? And if so, at what cost? They say, "time fly's when you're having fun," but is time really going faster or are we going faster through time? The prime reason for rushing is our desire to manage time. In reality time is an artificial concept that man has created to reconcile our existence in light of the actuality of limitless eternity. In that we constructed the concept of time, we then at some level and to some degree can manipulate it. The time "during our youth" seemed to be longer and move slower than the times of adulthood. When we were young most of us could not wait to get older. We counted each birthday and each year that slowly went by eagerly anticipating the freedoms and privileges that come with aging. The times "of our adulthood" seem faster as time fly's by. Our kids seem to grow up so fast and every time we turn around, they're having another birthday. The truth of the matter is that time is dependent upon our perception of it. (If the cares of life and the turmoil of busy emotions impact our "perception of time" moving faster; it stands to reason that calmer emotional activity would allow us a "sense of time" moving slower.) Remember timing is everything! Time can be managed through "patiently biding and waiting" disciplines or through "changing or disrupting rhythm" disciplines. The trick once again is knowing the precise moment and method to use. We cannot make the moment. The moment comes in and of itself. We can ride the rhythm of the moment or move within the rhythm of that moment. Using the wrong method during the wrong moment can be fatal. It's very difficult and sometimes impossible for us to believe in something that we cannot offer any physical evidence of. Spirit, the word itself, suggests some invisible undefined force or energy. Few people recognize that spirit is the power behind all fabrication or manifestations. Learning to view life from a spiritual perspective is something that most of us were never taught to do. We embrace spiritual perspective not because it can visibly be seen. We embrace spirituality because through it we see e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g else more clearly. There is an "art of timing" that most of us are aware of, all of us experience, but few of us master. In the same way as we keep interruptions from ruining a movie; we can simply hit the pause button!

"BALANCE IS ABOUT BOTH BOUNDARY AND TIME MANAGEMENT."

Many people reading this post will assume that it originated or was written as a commentary regarding this nation's response to the covid-19 coronavirus. However, that is not true. This is the first post in a series of posts previously arranged that will be addressing the upcoming ECONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL and MENTAL health crisis's enveloped within our current spiritual dearth. As congress passes bills while simultaneously degrading and slamming one another, it is obvious that they are unaware of the spiritual ramifications of their actions. The need to unify is greater than it's ever been, while the will to practice or at least portray the behavior of unity is lacking. We're "all in this together" by default. It would have been better if we had decided prior to this crisis to be "all in this together" by choice. Our greatest threats do not come from competing states and countries but from failed states and cultures whose populace can in some way or at some level compromise ours by inadvertent infiltration or integration. People do not eat rats, bats, monkeys and all manner of wildlife by preference. They consume it through need or by tradition. We are the ones who have turned our backs to poverty by ignoring and allowing it. Wherever there is a surplus, somewhere else there is a lack: this is the "law of balance." We have the power if we have the will. By choice we can change conditions across the board, so that the lack of necessities some experience will not have an adverse effect upon what we all experience. Let's adopt a spirit that heralds the qualities of honesty and transparency. Any system or environment that encourages any country to suppress or under-report the severity of a crisis that potentially affects the rest of the world must be replaced. We are now obligated to embrace and include everyone regardless of differences. Shunning stunts sharing and criticism can cripple caring. Unity shares resources that combine and develop ideas. We are a global community. Extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary responses, and global problems require global solutions. Let's do it together while there's time!

The words limitless eternity are amazing. I never heard that before. It kind of makes me not afraid to die. I like that better than infinity.
Spirituality would be the first dimension because of its almighty powerful source.
Charity begins at home. You take care of home first, then if you have the heart, will and the resources fine branch out and take care of others. First things first, set your priorities. Don't think this to be selfish but to be responsible.
Let the spirit move you. Spirituality is our intuition.
On another note related to RUSHING.
Advertisers and the news and weather could learn something from this. Timing is everything. Today's commercials/ads. news and weather are flashed by us so fast that the informational message gets lost. We don't have a chance to reap the essence of the message. They and we are missing the point. They fail to communicate and we sit there frustrated especially the senior population since our eyesight and hearing isn't what it once was. Stop the loud background music and talk when reporting the news to us, relate to us, mellow it out. I believe too much volume and excitement stresses us out even kids. We need more time to absorb. Stop the subliminal messaging. So yes we need to slow it down some you know like The Proud Mary. Less is more. Speeding thru everything reduces the quality of life. The point here is to convey a message thru the media. Oh Yes! Haste makes waste. Being in a hurry does seem to be counterproductive. Patience is a virtue.
