The price we must pay
for the debts that we owe
are growing each day
we'll reap what we sow.

Through societies' ills
we are swimming in debt
as we drown in our bills
and we live with regrets.

It's our own selfish ways
that produces this pain
losing morals and ethics
for our personal gains.

It's not just the money
it's the system we're in
we extract so much out
and put so little in.

If we want it we take it
without new seeds to sow
and we just leave it barren
but expect it to grow.

Though it's actually callous
and a blight on our name
why are we not embarrassed
why are we not ashamed?
 
As we kill things for sport
and we waste so much food
we infect the whole world
with our bad attitudes.

While we do what we want
we don't know what it's for
we should care that it hurts
And how fighting starts wars.

As we  wreck the new future
like we've done to the past
by ignoring the present 
know these troubles will last

Now the echos are ringing
and the sound is quite clear
its the curse we are bringing
yes the times drawing near.

As we send out this warning
there's a fact we must know
Our abuse has a limit
​we will reap what we sow!
