We endeavor to present each of our posts from practical and factually based spiritual perspectives. So little of our world's communications, correspondence and exchanges are spiritually based. We don't believe in spirituality because it can be visibly seen. We look at things spiritually because through it EVERYTHING else is seen more clearly. Rather then envisioning ourselves as givers of truth, we prefer to be seen as pointers towards truth. We must train one another to think and not do the thinking for one another. Our goal is to point others towards their very own epiphany. Nothing here is written in stone. We take no credit for the source, only the synthesis. Our perspectives may be applicable but our conclusions are not considered to be all encompassing or complete. We are practicing taking a stand. If we do not stand for something we are liable to fall for anything. Anyone desiring to stand for a principle should begin by taking a stand for truth. ​Today's world is in need of people who can see beyond, and past "secondary causes" and deal with the "primary effects" we are facing today! This can only be done through learning from hindsight, developing insight and heeding foresight. Things that may not be visibly apparent can still be visualized through the oversight provided by a spiritually awakened mind.

Many of us forget that man's nature, that is his natural/normal state of existence and operation, is primarily spiritual. Unfortunately, not being taught or told this from a very early age we learn intellectually to grow out of this manifest condition rather then growing further into it. Spiritual laws govern the universe. Ignorance of spiritual law does not exempt us from the ramifications (resulting effects) good or bad of those laws. Whether we obey or violate any spiritual law, they continue to operate impartially without any favor or bias to the righteous or the reckless. We will examine seven synchronous states of development that most of us experience in our spiritual journey. We will work from the premise that humanity is endowed with undeveloped spiritual abilities at birth in the same manner that our bones, brains and muscles are in their infancy and grow over time. The world suffers today from a lack of spiritual understanding that is "invisibly" dismantling harmony, unity and love. Dealing with the symptoms/effects rather then the origin/cause has us in a perpetual cycle that we periodically repeat until another crisis forces us to deal with it once again.

As a newborn baby, although most of the basic bodily functions are operational, sight develops slowly. Seeing is believing as they say, but faulty vision naturally or spiritually results in erroneous interpretations. Our sight is generally regarded as the most important of our senses, due to the fact that we think in pictures. Many senses take weeks to develop and even longer to begin to use. However the life force within an infant instantly communicates and interacts with the shared life force of the universe. We touch, hear, sense and share our sensory faculties willingly with infants. After all, who doesn't like the "feeling" of interacting with a baby? Sensory stimulation is not only physical but is also spiritual. Unfortunately babies will not have developed the language skills or capabilities to verbally express or relate this spiritual phenomena in the earliest stages of this state. We as parents, being unaware of these "happenings," generally fail to nurture such attributes. The result is that as time goes by life's distractions stifle the development of this wonderful ability. The general exception is found in twins who tend to maintain their psychic connections with one another. What we experience in childhood is the first level or step in our spiritual journey. Think back to being a child. Our will and imagination allowed us to invent invisible friends that grownups were not able to see, but we could talk with and confide in. Our spiritual growth gets stifled when our spiritual journey is sidelined in favor of academic or material pursuits. This is evidenced by the vacuum we've created in our society today. This gap is quickly being filled with divisiveness and hate. Only when collective thought is accepted and individualized, does it become the consciousness of the culture. The characteristics of a compassionate, cooperative, interdependence and unified government can only be achieved through the consciousness of spiritual unity. This is the missing link in our politics today. We cannot come together as a country without addressing the proper spiritual foundation needed to unify our hearts and minds with a common cause. Examining each of these seven states will provide us with the signs or symptoms that will advise us on how they work or if they're present at all.

ACTIONS

​DEEDS

We all are subject to the limitations and states of both natural and spiritual laws of the universe. Some of these laws seem separate but in reality they are all intertwined. As triune beings we are constantly operating within three realms whether we are aware of it or not. There are distinctions that illustrate the minor differences between our three states of existence. In physics or the "tangible" realm there is a law we called "Newton's Third Law" that states "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." In the "intellectual" realm we call that same law, the law of "cause and effect." In the "spiritual" realm we label this principle as the law of "sowing and reaping." There are many ways to evaluate our status or gauge our current spiritual state. People who are generally accident prone and/or always seem to be surrounded by drama or trauma use the "law of attraction" and it's universal force of "yin/yang" re-balancing to accelerate an ongoing cycle of present time reaping and sowing. These are the same individuals who complain that they cannot find peace because they consistently invite upheaval to calm circumstances. Whether they are aware of it or not, their normal routine in life encourages and maintains a type of behavior which engages conflict.

WORDS

​SPEECH

Another spiritual stage, status or state involves the "practice of our preaching." Our Spiritual power and effectiveness is directly tied into the fulfillment of whatever we proclaim or say we intend to do. We are tied to our tongue. Talking, conversation, opinions, recitals, stories and tales whether oral or written fall under this category. Words, in any form, have tremendous power. Whenever and whatever we articulate, whether negative or positive has "creative qualities" that begin operating the moment the words are uttered. This is why both liars and truth tellers can influence people to believe them regardless of the accuracy of their claims. The creative power of words and images influence thinking and form beliefs that people may embrace for a lifetime. Speaking and doing are synonymous in the spiritual world but in the natural tangible world of physical existence we tend to separate them as intentions and actions. The best measure of a person's character is most clearly determined by how closely their words and their actions align. Not just in the important or weighty promises they give, but in their everyday affirmations and pledges. It is the everyday minor declarations like I'll call you back" or "I'll be there at such and such a time," that most closely characterizes this state. People who are generally late, constantly demonstrate and reinforce this obvious lack of character. 

THOUGHTS

​INTENTIONS

Consciousness is a state of being awake with an awareness of ones surroundings. It involves physical presence and mental acuity. Consciousness works directly in sync with our thoughts. Thinking, along with the awareness of our thoughts requires the energy to intellectually process and evaluate any situation. Thinking is guided by teaching that is based on the reasoning and the standards of society. Thoughts have the capacity to become things and abhorrent thought will always produce abhorrent things. The imagination is unlimited, and without guidance or restraints can corrupt or create. Most inventions were birthed through the process of thoughts followed by words followed by works. Although we listed this third, it is inextricably tied in with talking and acting on intentions. There is no specific order we advocate here, but there is order in the operations of all seven states.  Thoughts turn into things through the transfiguration of energy. Sometimes the observed effect from something that was caused, BLINDS us and keeps us from seeing the true source from which it came. What was actually the primary cause of the observed effect gets spun into something else through a false narrative that hinders the discovery of the true and primary origin. We see this phenomena in our remedial response to crisis's rather then having a preventative approach. We see it in our news reporters and politicians who skillfully maneuver around questions that are never directly answered but spun it into comments connected, related but obfuscated. 

HOPE
​    &
​DESIRE

Every stage of our existence is subject to whatever spiritual state we find ourselves in. Hope tends to be the most misunderstood spiritual attribute of all. Hope can take a little implication and apply it to a lot of expectations. More then just wishing, hope has the intangible substance and designs of desire. Hope makes possibilities that faith can be applied to. Hope requires no indication or signs of itself. Hope is not a dream but gives substance to them. Having hope is a sure way of finding faith. As a down payment, hope is solid collateral. However all further installments must be made in faith through works. Many of today's entrepreneurs and leaders use or manipulate hope's power of expectation. Hope is a great motivational tool. However some politicians abuse this power to create images representative of what we want without the substance of its realization. It's easy to double talk hope.

FAITH
​      &
​EXPECTATION

Everybody seems to know something about faith. It's a part of athletics, politics, religion and even science. Faith tends to be the most misapplied spiritual attribute available to us all. The main characteristic of faith is that it does not work alone. Faith partners with love, works, hope, thoughts, actions and any other act that utilizes it. Although exercising faith takes practice, it does not have to be practical. When faith walks alongside a cause it becomes a catalyst for that cause and takes on the characteristics of a locked and loaded gun. Pulling the trigger is easy. Faith simply requires an object or goal to apply it to. Those who believe that faith works through thought and desire alone will put their confidence in others expecting them to do the work and hoping that the end results will materialize without much of an effort on their part. We can identify the application of this level of faith by the way people respond to difficulties. Whenever things don't work out as expected these believers resort to blaming the object of their faith. These are the same people that say "they" this or "they" that, making themselves blameless and powerless in making a difference. These are those who not knowing what to do, generally sit back and do nothing but complain. These people have yet to realize that we do have the power and simply need to exercise our faith to use it.

CHANGE
​       &
​GROWTH

There is no static state of spiritual development. EVOLUTION IS INEVITABLE! The standing, state and status for continual spiritual enlightenment is growth. Spiritual growth or evolution dramatically differs from the typical definitions or meanings we give to growing. As we develop our spiritual senses they inform our consciousness about the presence of intangible forces at work behind the physical manifestations we observe. There are no natural tools that we can use to measure spiritual growth. Our individual spiritual state has a cumulative aspect to it that influences our consciousness. Our collective spiritual states or cultural conditions consists of our combined consciousness. This is easily seen by observing the conditions or status endured by the least of our neighbors who live on the same planet. By default, the dictates of "universal principle" demands that we evolve with the rest of the universe as it changes. We MUST pay the price of true and immediate change. If we fail to pay the real price for change we will be forced to pay the ULTIMATE price for not changing. The spiritual status of the world today can be easily observed through the reflections in the mirror of worldwide conditions. What many people fail to understand is that all simultaneous worldwide events are spiritually connected. The way we deal with our maladies or remedies has a universal effect that permeates all consciousness. It is easy to gauge the collective spirituality of the world by how we cooperate with, respond to, treat and love one another; particularly during a crisis.

LOVE

​CHARITY

There is one constant state of "spiritual power" which serves as the glue for all spiritual expression. This is the "spirit of love." The act of Loving is last on our list, but it is the most significant of all seven associated spiritual attributes we're examining. Love is not a feeling. Although we can "feel" love, the feeling itself is not the source of love no more then heat is the source of a fire or wet is the source of water. When we interact in love there are attributes or by-products that always come along with it. When we speak about "love" most people focus on the common emotional aspect associated with families and personal relationships but not how we treat our neighbor. This post is specifically about that aspect of love; the acts of love we show towards our neighbors.  What we are strictly referring to is the responsibilities of love. This is how "love" treats changes to life. The most powerful force in the universe comes with a caveat. LOVE IS NOT UNCONDITIONAL IT COMES WITH A PREREQUISITE OF RESPONSIBILITY! Love is the glue of all creation. When love is engaged love connects to the objects of its expression and harnesses the energy of the universe harmoniously. When love is abandoned or not properly applied to whatever endeavor we participate in, the blend dissipates as the amalgamation unravels. Without "loves" glue the collaborative spirit of independent energies working together interdependently while they maintain their individuality, fails. Love is not free, it comes with a price! It can be "freely received" but it costs to give it. Love has a sharp side to it. Love looks past favor, taking sides, privilege or social status and love accepts criticism. Many of our world's worse failures, deviants or narcissistic individuals developed and grew in an environment deprived of corrective love. Even the presidents ability to govern is assuaged and tempered by the power of love. This is why all obligations of loyalty must ultimately be to the people and not the president. A diminished loss of love for the people is generally followed by a loss of love from the people. This administrations failure to embrace imperfection and face disagreement gracefully hinders the operation of love's sensitivity and fosters a consciousness that seems to lack empathy. With half of the country opposed to "whatever" the president does and the other half of "so called" supporters holding their positions or just going along for the ride, it is almost impossible for love's unifying glue to hold everything together. People against the president are refusing to express any love towards him or any brand he affiliates with; and those aligned with him aren't willing to pay love's price that sacrifices ego and feelings. Who will speak up in the interest of infusing love's cares and concerns into the consciousness, conventions and conversations of our leadership. Just listen to the news, most presentations are one sided! Love doesn't take sides. Love stands both for and against. Love allows us to stand for a person while standing against their behavior. Love allows us to stand against loved ones in order to stand for the truth. Love comes with a cost. Remember God so loved the world that God willingly sacrificed for it. That's the price Jesus paid for us (The U.S.).  The truest and most important aspect of love is the sacrificial part of it. The most powerful binding and cohesive aspect of love demands responsibility to its true call. Do we really want to know what love is? And better yet do we want to pay the price to show it? The presence of love is characterized by balance and harmony. Although there are many imitations we can discern its real duplication by those attributes in 1 Corinthians 13th chapter. Because love is so broad and encompasses so many characteristics, we often attempt to describe love in terms of what it is not. All actions and behaviors are subject to the "law of love." This is the law that sets the standard for all thoughts and feelings. Everyone and everything is subject to it. Although we tend to constantly fall short of its standards, it cannot be ignored. It's not difficult to tell when love's standards are being stretched to account for or allow error; disharmony always results. Manifestations do not lie. They are the real effects of cause. Without us having to uphold such a high standard for love, the world would be so imbalanced that God would be forced to remove man from the face of the earth in the same way he removed Adam and Eve from the garden. One of the main tell-tale signs of love is harmony. Whenever we witness disharmony it is indicative of a lack of love.
