PREJUDICE & POWER: PROGRESSION OR REGRESSION

We may not all be the same in COLOR or CULTURE; yet we can all be the same in our shared CONSCIOUSNESS.

WE ARE EITHER RIPENING OR ROTTENING THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND. 

The time has come that we address
the so-called values we profess.
The moral ark of our  professions
makes us regress or brings progression.

No mystery, yes its time to change
In fact we all must rearrange.
And take the time to come together
and so become birds of a feather.

The choices that control our fate
are in our hands, it cannot wait.
We must take part in this construction
or be the cause of self destruction.

A "wanton" act that's not condemned
is s-a-n-c-t-i-o-n-e-d to occur again.
How can we feel or else believe
​in "justice" that is not r-e-c-e-i-v-e-d?

To live in terror c-o-n-c-e-p-t-u-a-l-l-y
puts us in fear p-e-r-p-e-t-u-a-l-l-y.
How can we have a fair election
when people feel there's no protection?

From the bonds and chains of slavery
to our economic d-e-p-r-a-v-i-t-y,
And now the death of R.B.G.
distances the hope of e-q-u-a-l-i-t-y.

WHEN THE MORAL COMPASS IS "COMPROMISED" RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT IS ALSO "CORRUPTED."

There is too much foolish talk about abolishing the police and terminating rule of law. That is pure stupidity, stoked by alarmist, seeking to exploit fear or pushed forward by an anarchist agenda. To abolish the police we have to first abolish crime and to abolish law we first have to abolish sin! The problem is "systemic." The system is not "totally" broken; it has design flaws, malfunctions and needs adjustment. How could we have gotten this far if "everything" was "completely" messed up? We do not destroy our cars and homes when they break down or age. We repair them. Disarm Hate!
