WE'VE PERMITTED AND INDULGED ENSLAVEMENT, EXTERMINATION, INCARCERATION, HATE, RAPE, SEGREGATION, SEXISM, RACISM, HOMOPHOBIA AND APATHY TO FLOURISH BY BEING BLIND TO IT. the "principle of reciprocity" is immutable, judgement is inevitable, YET grace is STILL available if we embrace its guidance. the EXPRESSION of GRACE may come in many forms. forgiveness is one of them. we need grace NOW, in the present, to reconcile the mistakes of the past, so that we can create a better future. as a PLANET we share ONE COMMON standard of morality accepted throughout ALL OF society. THIS PANDEMIC has exposed us to ourselves in a way that makes EVEN THE MOST DEVOUT AMONG US seem INDIFFERENT. our ENVIRONMENTAL climate CRISIS IS A DIRECT REFLECTION OF the SELFISHNESS OF SOCIETY AS A WHOLE. IN SPITE OF OUR ABUSE, WE HAVE OBTAINED A SHORT PERIOD OF GRACE TO REVERSE ITS EFFECTS. WE NEED GRACE TO APPRECIATE THE GRACE ALREADY BESTOWED UPON US.

THERE IS NO NEED TO EXAGGERATE "INCONVENIENT TRUTH." SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERIES ARE MEANT TO PROVIDE FACTS NOT FORMULATE FEARS. THE "LOVE OF SCIENCE" PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY TO AVOID CALAMITY BEFORE WE FACE IT. THIS IS ONE OF THE WAYS GRACE IMPACTS US ALL. THE "GIFT OF GRACE" IS AN UNMERITED AND UNDESERVED ASPECT OF LOVE'S EXPRESSION THAT CANNOT BE WARRANTED OR EARNED. THE HISTORICAL TIMELINE OF VACCINES IS A STORY OF HOW GRACE DELIVERED US FROM OUR OWN IGNORANCE. IT TOOK THE SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY OF GERMS TO GET DOCTORS TO WASH THEIR HANDS AND STOP KILLING THEIR PATIENTS BY SPREADING THEM. Grace MAY BE DESCRIBED AS THE BALANCE AND REMEDY TO ANARCHY. THIS MAY BE CONSIDERED A SUPERSTITIOUS WAY OF THEORIZING HOW LIFE MANAGES THE GOOD AND EVIL ASPECTS OF OUR COMMON CONSCIOUSNESS. THE ANCIENT CHINESE PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPT OF YIN AND YANG DUALISM, DESCRIBES HOW SEEMINGLY OPPOSITE OR CONTRARY FORCES MAY ACTUALLY BE COMPLEMENTARY, INTERCONNECTED, AND INTERDEPENDENT. IT ALSO ATTEMPTS TO EXPLAIN HOW THESE FORCES INTERRELATE WITH ONE ANOTHER IN A WAY THAT ACTUALLY MAY GIVE RISE TO ONE OTHER. THE "BALANCING FORCE" THAT KEEPS EVERYTHING TOGETHER AND PREVENTS US FROM DESTROYING OURSELVES IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO GRACE!

ANOTHER INCONVENIENT TRUTH

Anyone with a basic understanding of "Moore's or Metcalf's" laws knows that this information age offers more and more accelerated changes and innovations. With all of the data available today and the sheer amount of processing power, artificial intelligence and scientific advancements, why did it take so long to develop a vaccine, a pill or discover a way to stop the spread of Covid-19? Although many feel that these vaccines were developed too fast, we question what took it so long! It seems somewhat naive to believe that creatures capable of so much can fall so short. We have traveled to and landed on other planets. We now fly into space riding earth's orbit. We pilot cars, ships, trains and planes autonomously. We've connected our entire planet electronically. So why is it so hard to prevent us from infecting one another with contagious germs. Isn't that easier then space exploration? After pharmaceutical companies make profit with injections look for an antiviral in the form of a pill. If anyone is looking for a conspiracy theory; try this on for size. We are now experiencing the "Holocene or Anthropocene sixth mass extinction" of our planetary history. Does this purge include mankind? Is nature the force behind it or are we doing this to ourselves. The driving force of change is more then change itself! We need grace to accept progress, embrace change and re-evaluate tradition. Life is impartial. Although it may appear that life favors some people over others, that is not the case. Everyone is destined to reap whatever they sow. This is a universal law. There are people like "Noah" who find grace and save not only themselves but other associated with them. Grace coupled with faith can save us from ourselves.  Many people FEEL and BELIEVE that life is partial and unfair. Some tend to say that God and/or life is just trying to teach us a lesson. That is being very careless with language. A lesson is a prepared, prearranged series of procedures or steps specifically created to guide, instruct or teach, not punish us. God nor life is in the business of getting even. Maybe God/life is trying to tell us something? Life is naturally simple and easy. Living life to its fullest takes work. There is only one mandatory law, concept, principle and practice that we all must follow. The instructions are straightforward the communication is very simple and plain. JUST LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR! There are no complexities to that commandment. Grace compensates for any difficulties we have with expressing love. The universe has no problems when it comes to articulating exactly what God wants us to know. Life does not send mixed messages, people do. Life's messages are pretty obvious. God understands how our feelings and emotions operate. Grace, "helps us to,...shows us how,...reveals when,...and knows what..."  We may not like the road, don't want to pay the dues, have problems with the messenger, don't like the message or just don't want to go through with what it takes to get there. When people finally get the revelation that they create most of their own barriers and obstacles it can be overwhelming. Discovering that we are our own worse enemy is difficult because no one wants to see themselves as the source of their own suffering. We all want something or someone else to blame! This is the same blame game Adam used in the "Garden of Eden." Adam verbally blamed Eve, but in reality he blamed the God that created her for him. God's judgement ushered in Grace. By opening the "eyes of our hearts" we can see God's grace in action.
