We've often wondered about the term "blind faith." Faith is not blind.... We have no new definitive explanation but can present a list of qualifications. Faith is more then belief, faith sees past and beyond belief....A foundation of faith provides some level of stability regardless of the structure upon it.... Faith built upon, grows and produces seed.... Faith is a process.... Faith is a practice.... The practice of faith works the process..... Faith starts as "finished" and begins as already "completed." An invisible act of faith can produce visible and tangible results. Faith has no requirements. The prerequisite for exercising faith is possessing faith. Faith is a free gift. Anyone wanting faith anytime and/or anywhere has access to it. Still all men have not faith. This is NOT a contradiction; it is more of a comparison. Faith is not limited by definitions. Faith focuses on results.
Completely defining anything limits it by that very definition. Sometimes it is easier to describe something by what it is not. For instance; to say that love is a feeling limits it mainly to emotional and intangible attributes. Love's expression is in its actions. An act of cruelty expands on what love is, by differentiating what is not an act of love. Likewise faith is not limited by any description or qualification. Although faith is not blind sometimes we are. We blind ourselves to faith when we walk by sight.... We "Faith blind" ourselves when we rationalize, theorize or trust tradition without questioning it. In fact, faith is not blind, it simply does not require sight. Faith is not something we can give, it is something we can get.... Faith is not something we can take, but it is something we can have and share.... Faith can be measured. There can be no faith , little faith and even great faith variables. Everyone seemingly has some measure of faith.... An understanding of how muscles work will give us insight into how faith functions. Picture faith like muscles, exercise them and they grow, don't use them and they weaken. Whether we use it or not, it's ours. Whether we heed counsel or not, we know.... Faith works better with our hearts and minds then it does with our eyes. Is faith the same as belief? The answer is no. When we absolutely believe something we no longer question it. Belief is needed to accompany faith; it is a naturally learned emotionally based temporal attachment. As a result many beliefs are based on appearance, biases, conclusions, deception, feelings, intellectual convictions, persuasion and blind narratives. Beliefs involve our senses and engage feelings to reinforce themselves. Confirmation bias is how we taint facts to maintain our beliefs. We cannot exercise faith without embracing it through our beliefs. Combining them strengthens belief and grows faith. Keeping our hearts open to our ever learning, growing and evolving minds requires faith. Let's be careful not to lock ourselves up in the limited prison of beliefs. Prove all things. Faith is NOT blind! Question everything.

AuthorJoseph W. Brown has been a small business owner, in the technology industry, for over 40 years. He operates as an ITA. An Integrated Technologies Aggregator practices the art of first assembling, next correlating and then finally corroborating various facts from distinct disciplines. Once this is completed, an "ITA" illustrates how these different fields of study are connected. It culminates in presenting inconclusive but irrefutable evidence of the relationships between biological, chemical, electrical, environmental, monetary, physical, psychological, social and SPIRITUAL principles. He strives to present evidence in a cohesive, practical & simplistic manner. Joseph is an unconventional and unique speaker & writer. He describes himself as a natural man with the sensitivity of a spiritual maven. He is an apologist and spiritual scientist. Joseph insists that we "find" motivation from within by getting inspiration from without. He endeavors to provide that inspiration through applying various Bible based principles. As the author & founder of The Magnetic Model, Rapid Retail Systems & NitchTechnologies.com. Mr. Brown is available to speak to groups of all sizes. (small & large) He will only speak on a "Subject." He relies on the principle of "shedding light" to empower individuals to address their own particular "Situations." These are the tools to create "Solutions."
