BEING RIGHT AND BEING RIGHTEOUS: THE RIGHT OF WAY!

THINGS THAT ARE ALIKE OFTEN HAVE UNIQUE DIFFERENCES. EVEN IDENTICAL TWINS HAVE DISTINCT CHARACTERISTICS. WE TEND TO CLASSIFY THINGS BY BREED, SPECIES AND TYPES. AS SUCH, WE ARE INCLINED TO VIEW THEM AS EQUIVALENT. THERE ARE MULTIPLE EXAMPLES IN NATURE OF THINGS THAT ARE DIFFERENT BUT APPEAR TO BE THE SAME. IN LIKE MANNER THERE ARE THINGS WE FEEL, THINK AND DO THAT FALL UNDER THIS SAME CRITERIA. MANY PEOPLE FAIL TO MAKE A DISTINCTION BETWEEN BEING THANKFUL AND BEING GRATEFUL. THANKFULNESS IS MORE OF A PRESENT FEELING WHILE GRATEFULNESS IS ACTUALLY AN EVER PRESENT STATE OF MIND, REGARDLESS OF PREVAILING CIRCUMSTANCES. THEY ARE BOTH CLOSELY RELATED ATTITUDES OF APPRECIATION BUT OPERATE DIFFERENTLY THROUGH TIME. BEING RIGHT AND BEING RIGHTEOUS ARE SIMILAR TOO, BUT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DIFFERENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT SIMILAR THINGS CAN HAVE DISTINCT MEANINGS. LIFE TODAY IS FILLED WITH ISSUES THAT CAUSE US TO BETRAY OUR TRADITIONAL ETHICAL AND MORAL VALUES BY BLURRING THE LINES. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE ARE OPEN ENOUGH TO ALLOW OURSELVES AND OTHERS TO CHALLENGE OUR PERSONAL PERSPECTIVES AND CUSTOMARY BELIEFS. WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS Righteous MEET AT THE SAME INTERSECTION OF SPIRITUAL WISDOM. THIS IS WHERE JUDGEMENT AND JUSTICE ALONG WITH EQUITABLE AND EQUAL FORCES ARE APPLIED. WE MUST LEARN TO LOOK FOR ANSWERS THAT ARE FAIR WITHOUT COMPROMISING OUR INTEGRITY. THIS IS WHERE "THE SPIRIT OF THE LAW" TAKES PRIORITY OVER SIMPLY APPLYING THE "LETTER OF THE LAW."

Being right is a relative term defined by at least three things. Being right is determined by accuracy of information, measure of fact and rule of law. These factors must be established, well known and well defined. In its broadest context being right follows a reasonable justification or stance for an action or position. Right correlates with what we believe. For example, the right to colonize, conqueror and enslave other people was regarded as an acceptable practice among many European nations. Retribution for wrong doing can give us the right to feel that we can authoritatively exercise judgement. Revenge is often the justification for all types of atrocities. There are many things considered to be both legal and traditional but does that make it right? What criteria do we use to determine "the right of way."

​Being Righteous is strictly measured by an immutable standard established by God. Obtaining a state of righteousness will not make us perfect, it will allow us to better perfect ourselves and give us a more accurate picture of our true perceived appearance. Our righteousness does not make us guiltless. We are not perfect but we strive for perfection. Our righteousness acknowledges that we are guilty but free of condemnation. We grow Righteously by adding and combining  what we already know to what we continually learn and apply as we grow in grace. As with the tenets of our constitution, we individually seek to become more perfect persons. Our righteousness manifests through our desire for it. Righteousness does not rely upon "the right of way." 

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

THERE IS NO ONE RIGHTEOUS IN AND OF THEMSELVES! No Pope, Pastor, Priest or Person has righteousness built in. Righteousness is better understood as a state. The nature of righteousness is such that those who partake in it can intuitively know when it is absent. Imposing righteousness on rebellious and wicked people is an exercise in futility. Forming and enforcing fundamental tenets of righteousness through mutually established law is the right thing to do. People may not always do right but they fundamentally know what is right; isn't it a part of our shared "spiritual consciousness?" There are many voices but we all individually make personal choices about things under our control. Does finding a wallet full of money without identification, give us the right to claim it? There are many things within our power we have the right to do. When we drive, laws, signs and traffic lights regulate "the right of way." Should animals crossing the streets, other traffic and pedestrians unaware or in violation of the "rules of the road" be subject to our indignation and rage? We all know that it is wrong to steal, to kill and to covet. Well two out of three ain't bad, isn't it? Coveting is rarely mentioned outside of a motive for committing a crime; while in and of itself is not punishable by law! We have given covetousness along with its spiritual cousins envy, greed and jealously "the right of way." Coveting the fame and fortune that others have achieved has become an acceptable ambition for multitudes of people mesmerized by the overwhelming effects of modern multimedia. We live in a society full of moral contradictions practiced and upheld despite being divisive. We have legitimized fornication and premarital sex while struggling with the ramifications of pregnancy's and abortions. The latter offense is often precipitated by the former offense 's promiscuity.

WHEN WE PICK AND CHOOSE WE ALSO USE....HYPOCRISY!

Selective sins, silence and specifically chosen applications of science are the way society operates today. It is becoming more and more apparent that implicit biases are dictating beliefs and behaviors. It is more a matter of who thinks what, rather then the facts, that determines how justice is applied. Propaganda and personal preferences have usurped the justice process as opposed to correcting offenses. Confirmation bias is spreading like "a fire." Today personal beliefs are polarizing the intimately related qualities of right and righteousness further apart. When we give ourselves "the right of way," right or wrong, we give everyone else the prerogative to take sides. Induced abortions, also termed, murdering of the unborn, results from sex among the unrestrained. Premarital sex is nothing new. The science to terminate "unwanted" pregnancies is not either. Induced abortions came as a result of our desire to avoid or circumvent natural cause and effect. Maternal instincts naturally and normally found in women. Gender always plays a role. The "spirit of shame" can even cause us to sin against the unborn. The practice of induced abortion or the deliberate termination of a pregnancy has been known since ancient times. Various methods have been used to perform or attempt abortion, including the administration of abortifacient herbs, the use of sharpened implements, the application of abdominal pressure, and other techniques. Today abortions can be divided into two categories namely the process and the act. The process of abortion, more precisely termed spontaneous abortion, refers to a naturally occurring condition that ends a pregnancy. This is what is commonly called a miscarriage. Today the term abortion, that is the "act of abortion" almost always refers to an artificially induced one. The gift of life comes with both the desire and right to live. Every creature has a built in instinct to survive and grow. Babies are no different. It it the mother that provides the egg to spawn and the environment to share the gift of life. Should it not also be the mother that chooses the path of righteousness?. Nature has bestowed the prerogative, and the power to the female gender. The maternal instinct mothers have is a gift from God. Moses lived because of this! Mothers will receive a special judgement by God that begins with their bodies and concludes with their babies or bareness! What corrupted our basic morality? Premarital sex was a taboo sixty years ago but today it is an acceptable and promoted practice. Where were these voices of outrage when our slaves were being bred, brutalized, raped and abused in ways that rivaled the cruelty to animals we outlaw today? Is the divisive environment we live in at this time a result of the curse from yesterday? How can we systematically abort certain cultures, environments and species from existence in the name of profit and progress? When we save the children while destroying their future aren't we only soothing our conscious and fooling ourselves?

FROM THE ABORTION/BABY CRISIIS TO THE EMIGRANT/IMMIGRANT/BORDER CRISIS THE CRITERIA REMAINS THE SAME!

Do we really have a border crisis or an order crisis? Knowing that the love of money is the root of all evil, it would behoove us to audit life's issues in the same way that the I.R.S. audits tax cheaters. FOLLOW THE MONEY! Why are we spending millions upon millions of dollars on an immigration problem that is actually a crime and poverty problem? It is costing us to have additional border security. It us costs to erect and maintain border walls. It costs to augment border patrol and law enforcement. It costs to apprehend, detain or incarcerate, facilitate and feed thousands upon thousands of people crossing the border. It costs us to send them back. It costs to grant them asylum, house and feed them after legal or illegal entry into the country. Where is all of this money coming from? Everybody from the guides that exploit the people they bring to the border, to the businesses participating in "ASSISTING" them are getting paid! If we spent half of the resources allocated to border control and directly applied it to assist people's local needs perhaps it would not present such a global problem. If we incentivized people to improve their conditions and themselves, wouldn't they do it? What would happen if it made more sense to help create their very own sustainable eco-system with the backing and the blessings of the richest country on the planet? Would that provide enough incentive for them to embrace their own country and culture ardently? What would incentivize so many people to make such a perilous journey filled with uncertain circumstances in hope of finding better conditions? Try FOLLOWING THE MONEY. The corrupt controllers of the world today exploit every situation, crisis or calamity that occurs for a profit.

RIGHTEOUSNESS BEHAVES APPROPRIATELY IN EVERY SITUATION! 

Let's face it! We've gone so far away that it is hard to find our way back. Not that we were ever there in the first place; but it seems like now we are further away then before. Today's climate (including the weather, whether we acknowledge it or not) in both our social and spiritual environments have developed well beyond the incipient policies we practiced in the past. The weeds have grown along with the "seeds of righteousness" and are choking the harvest once hoped for. As we've said in the past we say in the present, these are spirits we are battling against. Righteousness needs "the right of way," but righteousness must be embraced not imposed. Any expression of Righteous behavior towards others will account for and consider the climate, condition, consciousness and culture of those we seek to conform and convert. Jesus admonished us as to how we should judge! People often misinterpret the passage that says, "Judge not that ye not be judged." We fail to read the next sentence and verse that tells us that the same measure or standard we use in judgement will be used against us. We must discern interpret and judge what our environment and interactions place before us every day. This is why we have our five senses (there are more than five) to alert us to danger so we can avoid it. Jesus told us to judge not according to appearance, but to judge Righteous judgement! This means that laws set our standards but our judgement should reflect "the spirit of the law." The letter of the law will kill us all, but "the spirit of the law" is intended for our good and was made to give us life.
