NEW CONCEPTS REQUIRE NEW CONSCIOUSNESS....

Are we really what we eat? Are we really what we think? Are our beliefs reality? Are we simply a product of our teachings, environment and genetics? What if we looked at our existence differently? What if our perspective of life, God and all of creation evolved beyond popular concepts, thoughts and theories? Is there a clear thread of theology in the Bible? Would believing the world is flat keep us from going over the edge? Would seeing ourselves from another perspective make us better?

Whatever beliefs we embrace were formed by the experiences and teachings we encountered during the most vulnerable and impressionable foundation laying time of our lives. Most of us assume that we govern ourselves from within the center of our being by certain moral standards. Where these standards originate from may not be at the same place where they are governed from. The seat of our consciousness, our soul, controls us but what actually instructs and trains us? If we were actually totally self-made, that orientation would be the ideal position to properly begin to understand exactly what's behind our own motivation and purposes. However, even if that were the case most of us would still have difficulty seeing ourselves as we are. The average individual reflects externally, from without rather than within. Many people define "themselves" through they perceive is the values of others. Homologous acceptance and affirmation from others can become so important to us that we may willingly compromise our integrity for that confirmation. This is the posture that promotes being right, looking good and not looking bad. The motivation to lie is a byproduct of this condition. We lie to "make face" (present ourselves positively), "save face" (not be seen poorly) or "not face" (avoidance of accountability) things. This makes it easy to find ourselves "always ready to defend" any point or position we embrace. Most "right fighters" are deceived through their own so called "personal truths."

In practice most of us rarely question our core beliefs. because it is the fundamental essence that determines or influences how we interpret supplemental information. What we tend to embrace tenaciously generally aligns with former beliefs. Concepts developed from invalid or corrupted sources will lead to faulty conclusions. Our integrity is what empowers our words and our deeds and is what reveals our values. Whatever conclusions we draw, no matter how well intentioned, are partially based upon a need to manufacture what we already expect to find. We create our own acceptable narratives. Some of the most difficult truths to face in this lifetime will be about ourselves. Self-examination is not a popular subject, course or study. It is probably one of the least explored areas of psychology. Mindedness is just as important as mindfulness. Being open, (accepting things and people as they are and as they are not) although under rated, takes priority over every other aspect of understanding human behavior. How can we rid our neighbor of the speck in their eye when we have a beam in our own? By misinterpreting the meaning of our feelings and ignoring our senses we allow irrational emotional ties with errant thinking to reside inside our being. Reactions can be interpreted as "good feelings," like silence, enabling, revenge, payback or one of its cousins. We generally associate things emotionally to justifiably disguise them. It takes openness and working through the lack of pre-judgement to help us to generate acceptance. Acceptance can be uncomfortable. However, openness can impart greater understanding. Understanding can add insight. Thes factors help develop wisdom.

Just as the physical law of charged bodies tells us opposites attract; the universal law of attraction tells us that "likes" attract. These principles are no more contradictory then any two scriptures in the bible. There are laws that govern laws and a science that defines any law at any level of its manifest existence. We cannot embrace or understand the different laws across various physical, spiritual and multi-dimensional platforms without their scientific key. Realizing that all energies are attracted to, and group themselves with compatible (like/as) energies should resolve any misconceptions regarding seemingly physical opposites in correlation with one another. At the highest level of scientific understanding "likes" attract at the lowest level of physical observation it "appears" opposites attract, but they are more alike than unalike. We can only demonstrate truth at the highest level of our understanding of it. Remember thoughts that impregnate specific ideas group themselves around similar structures (spirits). Concepts pertaining to power will assemble themselves around structures infused with power. Concepts of love will mostly be attracted to other concepts of love.  As we expand our consciousness we can gain a deeper understanding of these concepts. Only by a conscious effort to delve into the subjective part of our own being can we expand and grow our consciousness.
