 This post summarizes a live session that convened on January 17th, 2016. There is a law of spiritual and mental growth. The spiritual and mental aspects of our "being" coincide. Although we may attempt to define them individually they are inseparable. We are simply spiritual beings period! The acknowledgement and acceptance of our true status will enlighten us and raise us from a lower "sense" of psychic consciousness to a higher state of "spiritual" consciousness. "Involution always precedes evolution." Whatever we involve ourselves with in our minds will ultimately evolve into tangible, visible, manifested actions. We will have difficulty growing into the understanding of "spiritual things" and living enlightened if we remain impeded by our learned human reactions to our environment. If in our path toward enlightenment we establish rigid definitions and a fixed point of achievement or attainment we will fall short. While on vacation and visiting a landmark, who would be satisfied with seeing a shadow of the object rather than the actual object itself? Whatever limitations we create we must eventually destroy. We will remain prisoners of our own devices until we escape the conclusions of our own narratives. When we understand who & what we are and what we're dealing with, we can then exercise dominion over it. Who can say if we can exist within this earthly environment without some level of attachment to it. How about Jesus? During his sham of a trial he emphatically renounced any attachment to this world. We do know that whatever we attach ourselves to we give our energy to. Spiritual law and order is the foundation of our existence. When we bring the power of this knowledge (this spirit of behavior) into the humanly perceptible world we can exercise it from a mental idea to a tangible manifestation. Even when we ignorantly exercise many established universal principles they actually work. There are times when we used our child like faith and were actually moving mountains long before we knew we could! Our misunderstanding of concepts such as prayer, faith and power does not diminish their effects if they are exercised in the realm they operate in. Misappropriation of the relationship or function of energy does not nullify its effectiveness. Our testimonies have more power than any demonstration of power! Magical and mystical spellbinding demonstrations can easily fool spectators into thinking that something that may not be actually true is. Magic is all about illusions. Many psychic guides and institutions fall under this phenomenon. We do not advocate vanquishing or overthrowing these organizations because in some cases the good they do far outweighs other detrimental effects. Because it sounds good or appeals to us does NOT make it right. We must strive to be open to greater revelation and evolve in our understanding without limit. Remember that everything written within these posts are biased by our humanity. Only truth is absolute, concrete and final. Truth has only one version. To us much of life is a thesis. The only certainty is death, but we cannot unequivocally be clear on what that is either.

 Usually we associate a race with competition or the fastest to a goal. Racing also means to move or progress swiftly or at full speed. When our heart is racing it may be due to excitement, exercise or a medical condition. Race, also embodies the idea that the human species is divided into distinct groups based on inherited physical and behavioral differences. In this post we will examine race in a different way. Knowing that life is a journey not a destination, gives rise to the question of how to make the journey. Consider the journey as an adventure as we pass through the wilderness of life. Without a detailed map and only basic directions, how can we be expected to reach our goals? The race is more about running it than winning it! Understanding these paradoxes is paramount to having a successful life experience. Any vessel is created for a purpose as it is molded and refined. After refining and shining it is ready to be used. No one likes to drink from a dirty glass. We all have some familiarity with the routines of life. There is no perfection. It is a constant wash, rinse and repeat. We are our own dishwasher. We must acknowledge that we help to write the script and are the authors of our own lives. Life is impartial we are the reason for why or why not. We cannot change anything that we do not acknowledge. We cannot control anything we fail to take responsibility for or own up to. Denial is the best way to avoid our responsibilities. Everyone must participate in the race regardless of their starting point. The word "RACE" can be applied as an acronym. To R.A.C.E. is to Recognize, then Act, accept Culpability and stay Engaged. Too many of us take time out, time off or sit on the sidelines. The control and responsibility for our lives is NOT in the hands of the government, the doctors, our employers or GOD. These are sources for help. It is only GOD that has pledged to always "HELP" us. We must find a way to refute and fight against one of the worlds biggest lies. The lie is that we are NOT in control of our own destiny! Sometimes we all NEED reassurance. Isolation separates us from consolation and encouragement. No man is an island; find and maintain a real source for support. Remember "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly." What a friend we have in Jesus!  |
